I think the CSUs punishment for being an art major is forcing their students to take a 3D Design course in which the said professor forces the students to create a larger than human sized non-representational object out of paper one lines a house undergoing construction.
Did I mention that this paper is 324 square cubic feet and weights about 15 pounds?
Yeah...
So, today was our only in class time to put together this monstrosity of a black heavy duty crepe paper in some form of a vision one gets off of an acid trip. I chose to go the "I thought it would be easy" route and attempt to hang my creation instead of building some sort of makeshift foundation.
Easy, right?
WRONG.
Not only did I have to create some form of weaving from strips of paper to hold the blasted thing together. I made TWO large pieces that had to counter balance themselves so one wouldn't be heavier over the other. Gah. So after 40 sticks of hot glue, 324 square feet of paper, and all loss of feeling in the tips of my fingers, the project was finally over at 11 P.M. What a way to spend the first of the month.
Oh, here is what the finished product looked like.

Anyway, successful day in 3D and I don't have to go back to that class tomorrow to finish it. Score. Now sleep just to wake up in about six hours for class. It's an ENDLESS CYCLE.
