Hallelujah! School is coming to a close for the summer and finals are just around the corner. Throughout this journey at CSULB, I have found that not only my mind but my art has been stretched and pushed to certain areas that I never knew existed. Finally overcoming that fear of being "too out there" since I'm more of a down to earth kinda girl is actually quite riveting to be honest. I can make non-representational sculptures and not feel like a weirdo. Haha.
I am, however, disappointed on how I handled myself this semester. My emotions have definitely gotten the better of me in more that one way and I can physically (unfortunately) show for it. I am, however, striving towards wrangling these wild thoughts and stresses into something healthier not only physically but mentally this summer. I'm hoping to get the juices flowing for sure.
Well, I'll keep you all updated on how the finals of devastation turn out to be within this week. Not to mention this nine page term paper I am STILL writing that is due in about nine hours.
EYE OF THE TIGER.
peace.
